"I simulate the value of speech with an element of dynamic that the human movement embodies. It is a series of connotations, referring to an environment in a personal space and recording, as it happens in a diary. I make reference to hands, which besides the morphological feature of dynamic, give the impression of introversion into the space-body and introduce a meaning to an energy field: conversation, conflict , reconciliation, lines that are wrapped restless, nervous with expansion-release and liberation. The concept of time is dominant in my work where I present it as an element of narrative as well as a declaration of a physical condition. The aesthetic of my work refers to surrealistic writing, in combination with geometry and colour. The engraving methods used are linogravure printed with intaglio technique and stencil. The sizes of the prints are usually 56x71 cm and 70x100cm. Japanese woodblocks and the way drawing appears with an elaborate and philosophical yield, through the study of nature in a poetic mood was an inspiration for my work. The aesthetic of lines combined with a sophisticated colour abstraction which came even before the modernists was the beginning of my research leadding to Inner land."
